Does Anyone read this anymore?

Just Wondering.

I have moved to myspace.
No reason- just being lazy.

Maybe I will come back here and write what I really want, since everyone is reading myspace now.

Hmmm.

Bad Blogger

Sorry to be missing in action.

No excuse for it either, really.

I had a great time in Memphis for Miss Gay America. The odd thing was I met many people who read my blog. I forget that people I don't even know actually read it. (Though if I don't start writing more, that will probably not be the case....) I met up with some people I only see at Miss America, and I got to know some MGA friends even better. (Shout outs to "The Marylands.")

I traveled with Michael, and we had the best time together. I also had the pleasure of dressing Mikaila for the contest. It was actually a joy to get to know him a little better.

After MGA, I got some bad news, but no biggie, really.

Should I tell you about the incredibly sweet (and sexy) guy I met in Memphis? He was/is one of the nicest people I have met in a long time.

Naw, I will leave that out for now.

Since I am doing drag full time, I guess I should get to work on my website, my myspace, and my blog, so people can find me if they want to see me.

All Drag- All The Time

I dragged all weekend.
Thursday was at Amsterdam, with Mya, Divinity, and Layla.
Amsterdam is the most unpredictable bar I have ever worked. Part of it is because people like to act cool there. Part of it is because a lot of the people that are ther are for the first time- or with a friend who dragged them there. And I swear, I think the biggest obstacle is the lay out of the bar. The people closest to the stage are all sitting on couches. So there LOW energy really dominates the room. People standing in the back seem to want to have fun- so if you focus your energy on them, you usually have more fun.
As I said, it is unpredictable, and this Thursday was great. Great energy, good tips, and just a good time overall. Plus, it was fun to key-key with the queens in the dressing room, and with Matt and Noah.

Friday was not so bad. It was Miggee's with Mikaila and Angela. It was my first time in the new dressing room. It is a little smaller than a postage stamp. Naturally, Angela brought 18 pieces of luggage. And since there were about 18 people in the bar, it worked out perfectly.

THANKFULLY, the people that were there were people who wanted to be there. So they made the night fun- and profitable. Yeay!
I got out of drag and went to my favorite bar, Homme. I love going there alone, because I talk to people. Well, that and becaause I can usually get Jeremy to flirt with me. (I heart him...)

Saturday was too much fun at Miggee's. I filled in for Devina- and had the best time with Ebony. We have not worked together in a while, and we always have fun. She never ceases to amaze me: she can charm almost any audience. It was a fun audience- and it was one of those shows where I felt totally in my element.

After the show, I went to breakfast with Markus, Michael, David, Adrian, Curly Sue, and Jose'. Even though I love performing or being in front of a large crowd, I usually do not enjoy going out with large groups of people because everyone gets too loud- and it is not fun. This is especially true at restaurants and B'day celebrations.
I like to have conversations, and not just exchange cliches, compliments, and bitchy comments when I am with my friends or with people who might be new friends. Despite the chaotic setting of a Denny's on a Saturday night at 2AM, I had a great time.
MGA is coming up- and I am not sure if I still want to go. There are lots of things on my mind, and I need to decide if I am up for it.

BUSTED!

This is pretty sad:
http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/09/29/D8KENKI00.html

ANYTIME a kid is sexually harrassed or abused is awful.

But it is made worse when it the predator is someone in authority, and it is even more offensive when it is someone that you trust.

This guy makes matters even worse: in addition to being a congressman, he also created the Congressional Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children.

Nice, huh?

REALITY RANT

Because my fat ass is still not working a 9-5, I have been watching an obscene amount of television.
And kids, I sense the end of the world based simply on the horrifying behavior exhibited (and exhalted) by the "stars" of certain reality shows.

Whether it is the obnoxious behavior of the HOGAN family on Hulk Hogan's awful show, the REDONKULOUS displays of the whores on Flavor Flav's show, or the cloying, pandering antics of the skanks on HUGH HEFNER'S show.
I am not sure why these shows (I have only been able to stomach a few episodes) bring up such strong feelings. It seems like the ugliest habits, qualities, and attributes of the worst of us are put on display. It would not bother me so much if the venue was Dr.Phil, and these people were looking for help. But, no. These people are put on billboards and t-shirts, advertising campaigns are built around them, and I am sure a few of them will be able to cash in on their "talents" and move on to become a panelist on "The View" or star in some sort of Reality Star "All-Star" show.

Maybe it is envy, maybe it makes me uncomfortable because it makes me think of my bad behavior, or maybe I am just ashamed of these people since they are not smart enough to be ashamed. With the world looking so unfavorably upon America and Americans, I think we could do better than to have kids (and unfortunately ADULTS) looking up to these people, or trying to emulate the likes of these people
